Why fish oil?
The two most important omega-3 fatty acids contained in fish oil are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). They must be consumed through diet or fish oil supplements. From proper blood flow to brain development, many body functions require Omega-3 fatty acids. These long-chain fatty acids are part of the entire body tissue and organ system (including the heart, skin, joints, eyes and immune system). Extensive research shows that EPA and DHA in fish oil help enhance cardiovascular health, promote better brain function and support healthy skin, joints and connective tissue.
